Jaroslav Bžoch

Jaroslav Bžoch holds the position of Vice-Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee and of the Committee on European Affairs in the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic since 2017. As a member of these committees, he is involved in parliamentary diplomacy and has participated in several programs in the United States, where shadowed and gained valuable experience with the influential Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky. Within the EU, he focuses mainly on migration and security. He has been actively involved in politics since 2011, when he became a member of the ANO 2011 movement. In the municipal elections in 2014, he was elected a representative of the city of Teplice where he participated in the activities of the Finance Committee. He also worked as a regional representative of the Ústí nad Labem Region.
Until 2017, he worked in the field of logistics, sea, and air transport, where he had a year of experience in New Zealand. Subsequently, he worked as a key account manager at A.P. Moller – Maersk. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and Management from the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. He received a magister’s degree in International Relations and European Studies from the Metropolitan University in Prague.
In his free time, he prefers to devote himself to family and sports. His greatest passions include Crossfit and rugby league, where he is a long-term Czech national team member. In the past, he also played abroad and twice won the title of champion in the highest Czech competition in this sport with RLC Dragons. Jaroslav currently works in the RLC Dragons Krupka team today.
