Mateusz M. Piotrowski is a senior analyst for U.S. policy and transatlantic relations with the International Security Programme at the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM). His research area covers topics regarding the United States domestic issues, foreign and security policy. That includes transatlantic cooperation within NATO and with the EU, bilateral relations with most important allies and partners in Europe and other regions, as well as the approach of the U.S. to selected areas of international cooperation. Before joining PISM in 2018, he completed internships at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, D.C., the Polish National Security Bureau, and the European Parliament. He is a PhD candidate in political science.
