Timmy Dooley

Senator Timmy Dooley was appointed to the 26th Session of the Seanad in 2020 and is Fianna Fáil Seanadu’s current spokesperson for climate, communications networks and transport. He was Technical Director from 2007 to 2020 and served as Spokesperson for Transport, Tourism and Sport until 2016 when he moved into climate action and communications. Timmy was also in Seanad from 2002 to 2007, when he was elected to the administrative body. In addition to his role in national politics, Timmy is very active in the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) and is currently the acting co-chairman of the party.
